Alberto Bollettieri

Alberto Bollettieri started his music training studying classical and jazz piano in Milan and later moved to trombone and jazz improvisation. In 2001, he has been granted the diploma at the Milan Civic Jazz Courses. In 2009, he graduated at the Bologna Music School where he also studied musical composition and arrangement.

As a performer, he actively collaborates: as 1sttrombone, with Director Enrico Intra Big Band, During the theatrical seasons, with the Strehler theatre in Milan. As a session musician in recordings, with Kenny Barron, Franco Cerri, Giorgio Gaslini, Paolo Fresu, Fabrizio Bosso, Markus Stockhausen, Max Roach and many others.
He has toured with: Sorelle Marinetti, Shandon, Franziska, Laurel Aitken, Vallanzaska, Mauro Giovanardi, Nina Zilli. As lead trombone, Alberto Bollettieri has played in some of the most important Italian and French live musicals such as: Saturday’s night fever, Hairspray, Shrek, Footloose, Beauty and the beast.
As composer, arranger and producer, Alberto Bollettieri has worked with: Ministri, Nu Braz, GranCarnaval of Milan festival Latinoamericando, Phenomenalias Jazz Orchestra.
